Breakfast is served in our dining rooms from 7.30am to 8.30am (Monday to Friday) and 7.30am to 9.00am (Saturday and Sunday). Guests wishing to leave earlier, a packed breakfast can be ordered in advance to take away.
To start, we offer porridge and an extensive cold table of fruit juice, cereals and homemade museli. There is always fresh fruit and a selection of yogurts adorning the buffet areas for those wishing a healthier option.
A choice of freshly brewed cafetiere of fair trade coffee or fair trade tea is bought to your table.
Alternatively we also have available Hot Chocolate, Cappuccino, Espresso, Latte, Decaffeinated Coffee and Tea, Earl Grey Tea, Green Tea, Peppermint Tea, Red Rooibos Tea, Chamomile Tea and a selection of Fruit Teas.
A variety of freshly prepared white and brown toast is delivered to your table. To complement your toast, we offer a range of locally produced preserves.

The Carraw Platter – grilled bacon, Northumbrian sausage (meat or vegetarian), black pudding, mushroom, tomato, hash brown, baked beans and free-range eggs - fried, scrambled or poached (or a selection of any of the above)
An omelette with ham, mushroom, tomato or just plain
Two boiled eggs with brown bread
Scrambled Egg and Smoked Salmon on a toasted muffin
Fresh fruit smoothie with warm croissants
Small portions are available for any of our hot dishes on request.
