Barrasford Arms (approximately 8 miles from Carraw Bed and Breakfast)

The Barrasford Arms sits at the heart of Barrasford village in the North Tyne valley. This is no ordinary country pub – this is where pub food is elevated to a taste experience. No frills, no “fine dining” but the very best fresh local, seasonal food, served with style and panache.

Battlesteads Country Inn and Restaurant (approximately 7 miles from Carraw Bed and Breakfast)

Converted from an 18th Century farmstead, Battlesteads offers meals, snacks and sandwiches at lunch time and in the evening, with both a-la-carte menu and Chef’s Seasonal Special menu which changes throughout the week. Those with a sweet tooth should check out the mouthwatering home-made desserts.

The Boatside Inn (approximately 6 miles from Carraw Bed and Breakfast)

The Red Lion (approximately 5 miles from Carraw Bed and Breakfast)

The Red Lion prides itself on providing very high quality, delicious food. The menu is seasonal and the produce is locally sourced with home grown vegetables.  Freshly made food, with a twist.


The Twice Brewed Inn (approximately 7 miles from Carraw Bed and Breakfast)

The Twice Brewed Inn was originally a coaching Inn and dates back to the 17th century. The Inn offers bar meals, hot and cold sandwiches and selections from the blackboard menu throughout the day. The restaurant offers a wide range of freshly prepared meals and snacks.
